Defective Part (or bad packaging?)=> $460 mistake
My low review for this product may be due to poor packaging for shipment. I purchased this water pump with the plan of saving around $60 when replacing the water pump for my Kia Spectra. I have heard good reviews of Beck Arnley pumps. It arrived in a very flimsy box and the pump looked like it had been roughly handled during shipment. I looked the pump over & didn't notice any imperfections. Not knowing any better, I took it in to the mechanic to have it replaced.
Less than one week after getting the car out of the shop, it began making a high pitched whistling noise. Took it back to the mechanic and they said the water pump was defective. I had to order a new water pump and spend $400 to have it installed. This was a $460 mistake.

Works perfect
Solid parts, packaged nicely and a fair price. Hard to ask for more. The fit was dead on and the package was complete.
