Bought this for my 95 Toyota 4runner sr5 6v 4X4 California edition (Gasp. . . ) and it works great. Had a more difficult time getting the fan clutch assembly off of the truck than installing this fan. Like has been said the 684 does not have a temp controller, but I got one from Napa auto for 30$ put it all together and haven't looked back. It's a choice issue but I would recommend buying 4 bolt/nut washer combos to replace the shroud clips. The clips work but realistically i don't think they'll last and the kit doesn't come with replacements.
