Looked like returned item
I ordered this and the first one I got was in an opened package, missing one gasket and the other gasket was damaged. I took a chance and installed it anyways (Amazon said they'd reimburse for the purchase of gaskets locally) but it turns out that 2 of the threads on the waterpump either had a burr or were damaged. I ordered a replacement and basically got the same thing, an item missing a gasket and the other was damaged, product looked like it had been previously opened. On second one I checked the threads before installing and since they were good decided to keep it.
